The Konexe SFP 1G BiDi (80km) is a Long-Haul Optical Transceiver engineered for metropolitan area networks (MAN) and ISP backbones. Unlike standard modules, this unit features a high-power DFB laser and APD receiver to bridge distances of up to 80km over a single fiber strand.

To ensure signal stability over such long distances, it utilizes the 1550nm/1490nm spectrum (industry standard for 80km) to minimize attenuation. It is fully MSA Compliant and includes DDM for monitoring link health on long runs.
